Would love to but I'm going to visit my sisters (yes both of them) in Havana, Florida over the weekend to celebrate our birthdays together and visit with my nephews.

ok my first tech session went good . i was the only to show up , but i got the skid plate that luis gave me installed on the 40 and got the trailer ready to tow . all i have left is to put the air bags on the ford . maybe i can get that done this week

Just found out about this - Steve cross posted in the place that shall not be named. Can't make this one with such short notice - but I sure could use a wheeling trip. Maybe next time.

Jerry - going to be wishing you luck with your tow vehicle - a smaller/lighter trailer and less gear might help.

Looking forward to seeing the pics - especially those of Welder Boy wheeling hard .

One more week about this time we'll be in cooler weather sitting around a campfire :D:beer:

Has anyone contacted Trey the park owner to let him know we'll be arriving on Thursday??

If not I can make a call so he'll have the gate unlocked.

I talked to Trey about an hour ago just to make sure everything was OK up there and he said he would be waiting on a call from us on Thursday when we got near Jacksonville and if the gate was not open he would run up and open it for us.
Can't wait!
You right about the campfire and the beer and hopefully a little cooler weather!
If anyone is planning on arriving before the group be sure and let Trey know so he can open the gate.
See you all on Thursday morning.

There's always the possibility there's some members that used the old FLCA.org homepage to link to the freeforum site (like me), and not have the Freeforum link or know about this forum.

Anyone have a list of members/emails?
I'd be willing to email them to get the word out.

Having this forum on Mud seems to be a good idea. Maybe it's making the FLCA more visible. I've seen more than a few new faces on recent trail rides.

Has anyone mentioned how cool a place Choccolocco is?

It is probably one of the best places in the southeast US to wheel.
the place is plenty big too. Plenty of trails so you won't have to keep running the same ones.
Scenery is great too.
It also happens to be closest ORV park to us these days since River Rock is shut down.
It would be an awesome place for a GSMTR.
Well worth the drive!

Rocky and Jesse are out. Rocky has been in the hospital since late last week with gall stones. Non invasive surgery yesterday was not successful and therefore invasive surgery was used. He is in a lot of pain and will not be able to attend. (non invasive would have allowed him to go)
Charlie called a while ago and can't go as he tore his rotator cuff on labor day "horsing around" with his grand kids...he is also very uncomfortable.
I think that leaves:
Jerry and Ricky taking the scenic route
Steve, Luis and Poppy, Archie, Joey taking the hectic route

Hope everyone starts feeling better, bummer on the injuries.

Trollhole's Parts Swap 2011 Sat, Nov 12

Trollhole's Parts Swap 2011 Sat, Nov 12

Last year turned out to be better than expected. I had people coming out of the woodwork to come. I've had a ton of requests to do this again. So the date is set. It should be a monster Toyota 4x4 parts swap this year.

Nov 12th Starts at 9am and goes till whenever.

Location at my warehouse in Greenville, SC

1512A Roper Mountain Rd
Greenville, SC 29615

I'm right off the intersection of 85 and 385.

Rain or shine. I have 30,000 sq/ft of open warehouse incase it's cold or raining. Outside I have way more concrete than we would ever need.

I'll be cooking hotdogs all day.

Bring all your stuff. Setup a tent or just open the tailgate. If you have something anything and you want it gone or sold bring it. This will your best chance.

Anybody can come and everyone is welcome.

Hey Rocky, the way we work on the trail, we can do the same as any doctor or hospital.

Make sure to sign over the title before you let us start.
