We live in a fairly rural area. Last week my wife hit a deer on her way to work. She totaled the vehicle and fractured her clavicle. Since she has to make the same drive every morning and evening, we're curious if there are any effective preventive measures for a passenger vehicle.

Deer usually will graze in the same field or same area so tell her to slow down and be on the lookout whenever she approaches the area the accident last happened.
