Jerry, took some measurements. Turns out that the NV4500 mount is a 4" or so back from the H55 mount, so the cross member will be right between the two factory mounts. Therefore, the list is as follows:
4x 8" section of angle
36" long 1.5" box tube
6"x12" plate cut into 4 triangles for motormount gussets
2x 5.5"x8" plate for crossmember
5"x5" plate for hydroboost mount
I can swing by on Sunday to take another look at your stock and talk price.

Jerry, this is what we were talking about last night. Materials list above has been updated.
If we can get the two 'clamps' fabricated before this weekend, that'd be awesome. I can come over to give you a hand any evening to get that done.

This starts tomorrow. 12 2lb chickens will be brought by Meatball ( thanks man! ). Haven't decided if beer will be keg or bottle form 
Loose plan is as follows. Every night, loud noises must stop by 9:00pm, no later.
Friday:
Saturday:
Sunday: do what we didn't get done on Friday or Saturday

- Swap rear axle
- Pull Toyota Driveline
- Pull fuel lines
- drain gasoline
- cut off motor mounts and transmission mounts
Saturday:
- Put cummins driveline in
- align in chassis, line up transmission crossmember, line up motor mounts
- measure 20 times, then tack weld mounts
- pull driveline
- finish weld mounts, paint
- put driveline back in
- fabricate rear driveshaft
- route fuel lines
- install hydroboost
- Hook up pedals
- Wire starter, shutdown solenoid, VR
- align rear pinion, tack weld spring pads, pull axle, finish weld axle
- fill fuel with diesel
- bleed fuel system
- start this bitch

I'll be there sometime Sat. morning, I'm hoping Meatball's carb he's bringing up gets my 40 back up and running (so I'll try and get it in early in the morning), so I can rebuild the other... It'll be a great weekend for both driving it and wrenching...
what time saturday are you kicking it off... still not sure if I can make it or not.
Couple other little things, that will probably make me sound whiney... but:
1. Dogs are welcome out back in the fenced yard (Splash's hips are getting pretty bad and I don't want to have to deal with her being fussy with dogs that want to play with her)
2. I beg of you to be responsible adults about drinking and driving when leaving my house.
3. We'll be making hashbown casseroles to go with the chickens. Chickens are going to be in red pepper vinegar sauce. Hope everyone likes that (like Logan's Run last year)
4. If we do go keg, and you want, please bring a pint glass. I have a good few, but maybe not enough for everyone. Maybe a good opportunity for Jerry to sell a few more
5. Still thinking about parking, which is limited on our somewhat narrow street (main street in the neighborhood so there's a good bit of traffic) May ask folks to park behind my house on the power lines. It's really close if you go through my back yard and is my property.
6. PM me if you need an address or directions.
7. State plays at 1-3, so that's what will be on the radio during that time.
8. Whatever tools you bring, try and keep track. Inevitably, some get mixed, left, etc.
Looking forward to this and a great opportunity for the club to pay back Johnny for all the time and effort he has put in on our rigs. I can hear clickety clackety already!!!

I think i've worked on Johnny's rig more in the last year than mine.... been a good learning experience for 60's. Can't say no to a guy that jumps to work on everyone else's. Mine's been neglected except for the brakes in summer. It needs some loving
I know i have worked on Johnny and Meatballs more than mine.
Have to come out to help, since he helped me move on the hottest day in NC history (by the Keefer Alamanac).

No need to 'pay me back'. I love helping people whenever possible, which lends itself to lots of 'excuses' to play mechanic
Parking can also be on my street if need be. It's a little bit of a walk, but not all that bad.
Need to go to the beer store tomorrow to get prices ( keg still undecided ), so everyone, bring [STRIKE]a pint glass[/STRIKE] $ to buy a ONSC pint glass from Jerry!

In all seriousness, Darin has been a much more gracious ONSC member than I have been. Say the word my friend and I'm there to help with whatever you need.
It was pretty hot that day, wasn't it? It was an impressive feat to get everything moved over in a day.

Driveline is at Ramon's house. Got just about everything I need now.
