How much of that do we have to save? We can saw it apart real quick, especially if I bring my chainsaw.

I hate chasing old screws out.

I’ve got 2 chainsaws and a sawzall. I don’t need to keep all of it, but there are double doors on the back of the house that I’d like to build a small deck for so they’re actually usable. The pool deck is relatively new and I’d hate to just waste that wood and have to then buy more. The railings can be dropped in sections, and the stairs will be removed as a complete unit and are going to my sister and Dave’s house.

I put it on my calendar with intention of making it. I have a trip on either end of that weekend, so it will take some juggling.

I would likely bring the Tundra, so if you have access to a spare lightweight trailer, I can do some towing.

Do you need help fixing the liner on your pool.? Or is it going away?

Pool is going away for a shop to be built
were those double doors ever usable? doesn't look like a landing was ever there.
interesting choices!
One of the previous owners added the doors where there used to be a window and never finished the job.

Update

I’ve been talking with @GLTHFJ60 a bit. I think I’m starting to formulate a plan. If @aquatech3 brings his skid steer, that’s also an extra trailer. We can have a couple people stay back and save some of the wood from the deck while everyone else goes to move things. Once things are moved, we go towards demolition mode on the deck with saws and skid steer. I’ve also been having some intermittent problems with the brake controller wiring on my truck. If someone else can tow my trailer, that would be great. It would also leave my tundra available to load up using the lift gate.

I can tow or stay back and help with the deck. My back has been acting up, so I probably won’t be doing a lot of heavy lifting.
