I brought my new 76 Fj55 home a few weeks ago after owning 4 Fj60's over the past 5-6 years. I have had it in the garage working through some of the issues and cleaning it up.
Having done absolutely nothing that would cause it, I have lost all power in the truck. I have power at the battery, starter, and as far down the white wire with the fuseable link in it as I can read.
There is a click that happens. I turn on the truck and it powers up, but when I hit the starter, click, and it all goes dead. This leads me to believe that there is a circuit breaker in there that is tripping, but I cannot find it. It sounds like it is behind the glove box, but tracing the wires produces no results.
Any help on this would be great; I appreciate it.

This is a pretty badass 55. Mostly stock, aussie locker in the rear, Ranger torque splitter with electronic shifter, shackle lift, green and white with stock rims, 31x10.5 AT's and hubcaps. I have been really excited to start driving it, but this is stumping me.

thanks in advance

Another possibility is a poor electrical connection between one of your battery terminals and its connecting cable-clamp.

I suggest removing both clamps and cleaning them up (along with the battery posts) before reconnecting them. (And cover them with dielectric gease to prevent future corrosion if you find that was indeed your problem.)

Are you saying you have power with IGN ON?..
Do you have power in the B/w wire going to the starter Solenoid
when the key is in the start position?

Bad ground.

Thanks everyone. it was a bad ground. when i gave the neg bat terminal a tug it came right out. i put a new clamp on it and everything seems to be working fine. hopefully that will solve the slow drain as well. thanks for the help.
PS - never did locate the circuit breaker

Probably a relay clicking. Unless it's been rewired I think it unlikely that a 55 would have any circuit breakers. But I've been wrong before.
