This is great! Mine is in pieces and held in with gorilla snot and zip ties... I will definitely buy.

Very interested! How much will they be going to be?

I'm not interested in getting rich off this stuff. I hope to recoup some of my initial start up costs for the raw materials, CAD time, etc...as for exact price it's hard to say just yet, but I hope to be able to these on the market for under $100 bucks. Which I think I'll be able to do.

I have some more materials on order so I should be able to get another model done soon.

Thanks guys for all your interest, I hope I can contribute something to the cruiser community.

UPS has my ordered materials on it's way for delivery today, yea! So i should have another model or the real deal hopefully for show on Monday (if not sooner).

this is awesome. I would like to change my dash around because my radio is in my tuffy and there is just a hole where the factory radio is....

Dope. I have had a hacked up dash on my bench for months now trying to get a decent solution to this! Now its going in the trash and I am totally up for this replacement.

I see you working the ARB style switches into the dash. Have you worked out the DPSP SPSP style replacements for the stock switches at all?

This is where I am hung up with as far as wiring in the aftermarket switches into the stock harness.

Will there be a "joint" as seen in the sample (2 halves looking like they are glued together?)

No, that was made in 2 halves because the rapid prototype machine couldn't accommodate a piece so long.

We're looking at a few other methods to make the surround...water-jet, injection molding and a few garage tricks to see what works the best and keeps the cost attainable.

That would be an amazing price. Mine is still in good condition but I would be interested in something different and more heavy duty.

I'm really keepin my fingers crossed that it'll be compatible with FJ62s as well (or at least an FJ62 version). I'd love to have an inclinometer in my 62, with a stock-appearing installation.

subscribed. to cool to pass up
