Dash Mat/Cover? (2 Viewers)

I have a 1995 KZJ71 and I am looking for a dash mat/cover. I have been searching all over, emailing various vendors, such as Moon Eyes, with no luck. Does anyone know a source before I contact a local shop and go full custom?

I have a formed simple cover from Australia and also the Escape Gear one. I currently use the simple cover as I prefer it over the Escape Gear one. (pictured below the simple cover).... It comes with the option to secure it with velcro but I don't do that.

I have one like that with a bump for the center gauge pod.
I also did not use velcro. It stays in place even when the top is down.

The problem is that the KZJs got a more rounded dash.

The LJ Prados had the traditional 70 series dash.

That is a nice looking dash.

Doing a search for "KZJ78 ダッシュマット" or "KZJ71 ダッシュマット" seems to help find a lot of options out there and then use a proxy service such as buyee.jp to buy the mat but it couldn't be too hard to make your own like this guy did...

I have a dash cover for mine, I don’t use it as my son said “bruh, what the hell is that? That’s foul” which i translate to mean ugly and not cool.

Here is the brand, out of Australia so maybe you can find one for yours.

I say the same thing about snorkels but at least I can just remove the dash cover if I get tired of it.

Yes, UV degradation of the soft plastic dash parts. Some of us don't have garages. Or winters.

I live in South GA where the heat and sun can be real intense. There is a small crack in the dash already and I want to prevent further cracks or issues.

Have not yet found the perfect solution, but for now I am happy with the look of a Baja style blanket.
