So the other day we took the kzj73 out to go for dinner and coming back out of the restaurant after dark I notice that none of my gauge cluster lights work nor the bulb that lights up the hvac controls . I checked all the fuses and they are ok . I tried another gauge cluster but same result . Anyone know if these have a separate relay ?

not a separate relay, but might wanna check your headlight switch and or the wiring to the stalk, also some if not all the interior lights run through the hazard circuit, might wanna check that, and the switch itself.

@joekatana i have this same issue. Will randomly work every 1 in 25 uses.
This should be the correct diagram for the dash lighting for your model, looks like the junction block J/C No.2 or one of the ground points are the most likely culprits. Google translate can take a photo and translate the text, it is functional but not pretty.

Took the whole damn cruiser apart to in the end find out that the ground to my radio was loose , it looks like it then wanted to ground trough the antenna making the fuse pop . If it turns out that there is another issue I will post it up later . Fingers crossed at the moment.
