US SPec'ed FJ40 with approximately 87,000 miles that has been in my position for the last 15 years. Super Clean!! It was built to be driveable and we had a blast using while the kids were around. They are gone now and I need the garage space for other projects. I will try to list everything that has been changed over the years, but it is pretty safe to say that most everything you see has been replaced with OEM parts when available and the top of the line alternative when not. Let me know if you have any questions or need to see anything in particular.

Asking 30K.

Some of the things added or changed over the years.

1. New Paint (No bondo on this thing.)
2. OEM fog lights.
3. Upgraded hood latch to later model.
4. Upgraded Spare tire carrier to later model so it doesn't rattle.
5. Metaltech Full Family Roll cage.
6. 1963 FJ45 tailgate with custom hardware.
7. Cool Cruiser Winch Bumper.
8. Tuffy Console.
9. OEM like custom tachometer.
10. OME springs and shocks.
11. Late Model OEM European mirrors for the front doors.
12. Vintage air a/c
13. Upgraded rear seats to later model.
14. Driver side seat extended.
15. Wired with trailer brake.
16. Custom trail cover.
17. New OEM Wheels and hubcaps.
18. OEM Soft top doors.
19. OEM Soft top window and door channels for custom bikini top.
20. Upgraded door hinges for both soft top and hard top doors for quick on and off.

Hard top is currently in pieces and has been since it was painted. I have kept this in my garage for years, and never used the hard top. I do have new OEM glass for the top and back doors and most if not all the weatherstripping and parts to reassemble everything.

Is the smog equipment present ?

No smog. Registered as antique here in Texas for the past few years.
Wiring is fine. Both cables are off in the picture. I’m sure you could reroute a couple if you wanted to spend the energy to do it. All extras are connected to circuit breakers, which does account for several of the wires pictured.

Happy to try and answer any questions or take pictures as needed. Thanks!

So I’m assuming smog parts are long gone ?
Not all interested buyers are going to be from a no smog state so pretty important questions IMO
Does the battery lose charge if it’s left hooked up for extended periods.
