Driver side took about three minutes to slide in and didn’t need to use a hammer. I’m on hour seven of trying to get the passenger side one in. I’ve used the grease to suspend it, hammered, wiggled, etc. I’ve changed out c clip from the original CV, I have polished the c clip, I’ve removed the c clip and made sure the CV would slide in without it and that’s all good. Need a miracle here!

Thanks for the reply. Will try that some more. Have probably only used that method for one out of the seven hours :)

I had the splines on the end get smashed a bit before. Make sure they're smooth and file down if needed.

Might need to tighten the circlip too if it got spread out a bit. Bend it to a tighter rounder shape

Thanks all! Removed clip, cut about an eight inch off, filed out the end of the cut, crimped it a tad smaller, reinstalled, greased up and finally went in..still not right away. Insane. Thanks again!
