Ige yup this one is the real thing, never had the L on the grill.

Bh4rnnr thanks make sure to stop by and say howdy at the event!

FirstToy, no kidding I don’t think I will lose track of where I park this one. Yes lots of photos of Moab for sure. Hopefully photos of the orange parts and non of the non orange parts!

Rookie2 and Todd, ah Rocky Top ok had to Google that one!

MSGGrunt True Toyota Orange!

Beaufort Oh it has the real peal too.

Tyler Thanks, I to am looking forward to seeing it completed. Shoot I want to drive it again!

Hulk, Yes that is a cool mount for sure. I was thinking a pre runner style holder with a big wing nut in the center……. Na I think a few ratchet straps will hold through the 2nd roll.

Christo Thanks, see you were smart and HAD yours painted. Me well just had to do it in house and have to imperfections to prove it! However when I stuff the messed up panels into a rock I think it will hide all the issues.

T-Minus two days

Its going to be tight. We got a lot done today but it was mostly the small stuff that just eats time. Did not finish the right inner wheel well today so the front clip is still off. Arrragrah this means tomorrow has to be monster productive day!

What??? Certainly you jest! :D

Here, I'll sing ya a few bars.

Wish that I was on ole rocky top,
Down in the tennessee hills.
Ain't no smoggy smoke on rocky top,
Ain't no telephone bills.

Once there was a girl on rocky top,
Half bear the other half cat.
Wild as a mink, sweet as soda (actually pronouced "sody") pop,
I still dream about that.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top (add a "WHEWW" after this),
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

Once two strangers climbed on rocky top,
Lookin' for a moonshine still.
Strangers ain't come back from rocky top,
Guess they never will.

Corn won't grow at all on rocky top,
Dirt's too rocky by far.
That's why all the folks on rocky top
Get their corn from a jar.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

Now I've had years of cramped up city life,
Trapped like a duck in a pen.
Now all I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again.

Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

A few of us will be there by Sunday late afternoon/evening. Maybe we can join up for a pre-run Monday or Tuesday. ;p

I'm up for anything. Bustanutely and I were talking about doing Rusty Nail before the event. I guess it is a Cascade Cruiser tradition to run Moab Rim as soon as they arrive in Moab and someone usually breaks somethings. Good times

T-Minus 1 Day, we are in the last 24hrs its 2:20 AM now...

All the sheet metal and lights are back on. Took her out for the first time in a month, whoo hoo love the 5.29’s! This is what she looks like now, winch is all in now. These shots where taken as we flexed her out to see if the tires hit the front bumper, it clears. The 9.5Ti winch took 0.500 spacers to clear the winch motor from the bumper easy fix. Need to figure out how the put the synthetic fairlead on for the synthetic rope. Looks like studs need to be added to the bumper.

Rear needs 4” drop bump stops for now. I am working on the rear corner guards now and will finish up tomorrow… ok later this morning!

Major issue: The used 3rd in the rear with the ARB is leaking at the air fitting……INSIDE. Suck. Chad volunteered to pull this now and fix it. Fortunately Metal-tech is an ARB dealer and I have a stocking supply of small parts for all ARB‘s, this included an early style bulk head hardware kit. This is exactly what is needed, but only after the 3rd is dropped.

I am flat lining now been up since 5:45 AM yesterday. Ttime to go grab a few zz’z and come back down. I wont be surprised if I find Chad still down here in a few hours when I get back, the dude is focused!

Why I know it’s the official song of TN AND I down loaded a MIDI track of it. I am sure Todd will have it on his IPOD at CM.

Awesome! One last thing and you're ready to go.... Power T painted right in the middle of the hood. :D That rig would catch a pretty penny in these parts.

Have fun .

one side is mounted the right way. that way you get half good forward traction and half good reverse traction. :flipoff2:

I chatted with Mark this afternoon. I guess Chad slept at the shop last night on a creeper. Now that is a dedicated friend.

He still had no side protection for the rear.

I can't wait to see the truck tomorrow. I just wish I could be going with them to Moab right now. Tuesday night will come.

Greeny,
Wait until Wed. to run Rusty Nail. I want to go bad. Also there will be a buggy from TX that is running that trail Wed. too.

Besides if you read this, you aren't working!
