Just got some custom pinstriping done on the 4th. What do ya think? Had the flares and mirrors done too.

I was eventually going to DuraBak the top and flare. Guess I'll do the mirrors also. Anybody DB'd mirrors?

I just see red X's. But don't really care as long as your avatar shows up. Is she someone you know or did you chop it?

Ha! I wish. Chopped.

Ohh, those scrathes look deep. Ones that aren't too deep can be corrected with Mgeuires X Scratch or other stuff, you don't have anything to lose.

i solved my pinstriping problem by durabaking the whole right and left front panels. I'll try to post a picture when i get home.

I've been to the Line-X shop now twice to talk to them about coating the whole rig, head to toe. $1500 was their estimate. It almost sounds worth it for the reduction in maintenance (no more waxing, drying, or the occasional buffing after a trip).

I'm pretty close to doing it, but I could do some of the mods I want for 1500, so I can't decide.

Any pictures of the 'body shop' where you got the pinstriping?

Nice.... welcome to the club. It looks like you were looking for ruins too.

I bought my '96 with not a scratch on it.
one month later, co-workers were asking WTF happened to it. lol.
I don't even wash it anymore because the dirt hides the scratches.

Nice racing stripes, looks like you went to Wildomar OHV area, above Lake Smells-like-hell-senior. That is where SoCal 80's had our first official group run.

It's actually Four Corners above Lake Morena in SD.

Used to be good fishing in Morena. Decent sized bass and some HUGE carp. I also saw a crapload of frogs ~ like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. They covered the ground for hundreds of yards. Weird. Cool area.

Nice pics. It looks like the kids had a ball. Thanks for posting up!

Looks like a nice area to explore, what are the trails like?
It's an OHRV Park so there is a variety of trails. I used to ride dirt bikes and mtn. bike there when I was younger. We took the main 'loop' which basically runs the perimeter. It starts off paved (sort of ) to the peak. It used to be rough up to the top, but there is a fire lookout at the top, so I guess it’s paved for easy access. After that the trail roughens up. Nice scenery. There are other trails for more outfitted rigs.

Corral Canyon

I can remember once seeing water going over the bypass at the dam. The water level now is sooo low. Crazy.

Good to see someone enjoying that front facing sliding rear window! If you ever change your mind about the cool pin striping, a hand held buffer from wally mart and some cheap, kit brand scratch out will take most of it out.
Oh man, the kids love those windows. That's their 'spot'.
The paint was descent before, still had some scratches and touchup spots. I’d probably paint it again if I was going to ‘fix’ it. Something other than black though.
