Has anyone done home made body work? How did you do it? Would you do it again? Etc etc

Yep, lots of folks on this site build their own panels and such. Just this past weekend I built my drivers side quarter panel from scratch. I have also replaced my center main body support channel, drivers floor, repaired the tool box and on and on... Soon I will do the wheel wells and cargo floor.

Would I do it again? Sure! It's forced me to learn to weld and when I 'm done I'll know every square inch of my Cruiser. Can't say I haven't thrown a wrench or pair of tin snips across the garage a time or two during these building sessions but hey that's all part of the learning curve. :)

I'll be adding the quarter panel page to my website today or tonight. It will be Page 26.

Also do a search here, plenty of threads about body repair.

Ooops just saw your edit... So I can say ALL my panels are unique one-offs: None match exactly!
