I pulled the info off member’s applications (44 members) and was surprised on how balanced the list is.

16 – FJ40

6 – FJ55

9 – FJ60

3 – FJ62

13 – FZJ80 includes FJ80

5 – LX450

What are your thoughts on starting a new thread on member’s vehicles. Members will post up their favorite poser shot of the junk they claim and we can post it on our web site in the future.

Howdy! Yea, like don't we have any mini trucks in the group? My backup rig is an 85 mini that ain't quite stock. JOhn

Only three 62's??? Maybe we can offer club subsidizing on next years membership for fj62 owners to help boost our membership totals? I wasn't thinking much, maybe something like paying for our membership fee and half of our gas receipts for a year. I feel with that kind of club backing we could swell our club totals with 62 owners that are on the fence about joining, but couldn't really afford the $20 or the gas to make it to the meets or trail runs. Perhaps we could put this to a vote at our next meet??

As for the new thread I am game. Just need to scrape some pennies together to get some gas to get a poser pic of maggie. Oh, and then there is the cost of the batteries for the camera and the cable modem fees and the.... It might be a while til I post the pic.

Salud!

Sounds good to me. I think it's funny how we have so many 40's in the group and how few come to the meets.

BTW who is bringing the fire pit to the Dec. meet???

I'm more concerned about our lack of 45 pickup's. What's the dealy-yo?

that could change, i found the proverbial barn 45 and the owner is thinking over my offer.

Wow! Since everyone's so willing to subsidize FJ62 owners, I'll gladly take donations to purchase my neighbors rig and help fill the quota.:D :D :D

You're always working some angle & thinking outside the box aren't you LCP? I bet that's why you're the treasurer.;)

I am glad to see accasbel & Desertgirl66 have cast their votes for subsidization. Granted it does favor the three of us and our rigs, but I'm sure you all wont let that stand in the way when casting your vote as well. So when does this susidization motion become a bylaw Prez?

Susidization? more like "suds-sedation" if you ask me.
Me thinks the Big D has had a few too many grande cervezas, no?

I am looking and a serious buyer for the right 45 - if you want to pass on the info I could pass on a finders fee:D
