Hey y'all, I just bought an engine stand on Craigslist for super cheap, its fine except that it doesn't have the movable arms that bolt to the engine block. If any of you have a stand that you aren't going to be using for a little while (a few months at the most), would it be possible for me to borrow these arms?

I guess this will be my engine build thread.

Down to the crank, waiting on 46mm socket for the crank nut. Sending the head to the machine shop in a few days, block after that. Besides being pretty gross it is in fantastic shape.

Hey Dominick you can really do Thursday? If so, I need someone that's got some weight on them to get this crank nut off.

Steve- yes, in my 62, no not a 2FE, just a boring 3FE.

Luis- CW Pence is doing the machine work, the head was dropped off on Monday.

I got the socket for the crank nut, just need to pull the crank then the block will head to the shop. Then order parts and reassemble, fun part!

Crank and cam out, block goes to the shop tomorrow. The next step is to start becoming buddies with Beno.

Problems will be easier to find (leaks or whatever). And it'll brighten up engine bay a lot. I'll just have to wash it every couple if months, no big deal

Anyone ever painted a cruiser engine white or am I the first?
