Seemed to be a good get together last night, good to have some new folks show up. Had some problems with the 40 last night, left you guys about 8:45 got home 11:15. Had work with my lights before I left and on the way home I got to thinking "What the shiite? Lights are really dim for some reason, then a little closer to home the lights got dimmer and then got to notice the turn signals didn't work..????... well setting at the light at Hwy 71 & 620, in the left lane no less, the 40 died... wouldn't start, no lights, very little voltage to pump the brakes for a make shift hazzard flashers, nearly get run over once, a lady asked if I needed help (yes please), she got in behind me with her flashers while I called 911 to get a cop to come push me out of the way. Ambulance crew showed up instead (the cop wasn't far behind), they pushed me enough for me get into a Specks parking lot. Called the 
, she got there, we jumped the 40 off, but the lights quickey dimmed to nothing. O.K. alternator went out I suppose. Went home, got the Dodge and trailer, went back, picked up the 40 and finally made it home.... Hope everyone else had an uneventful ride home. It was an adventure..I guess... I knew I should have left it in the barn for now...

Sorry you had trouble. Was great meeting everyone and hope to make it when I am in town. Good group of people there last night.

Actually, I think the red 40 is jealous of my other one. The red one has seen the other one on the trailer coming and going and the red one is feeling left out, so... I know how a bunch of cruisers talk to each other when they are stored in the same building, so I think some jealousy is involved, lack of attention I guess...and it showed last night.. That'll teach me!!!
