All,
The following are pictures of a sweet FJ45 that was parked just off the Marietta square this morning during the Gobble Jog. Since it is the same parking spot, same event, and same tires/wheels; it is probably the same owner. Regardless, it is always a treat to be out and get to see a Cruiser ... and one this rare & special

Also, some Marietta Firemen ran the 5k in their gear. It was impressive.

nice landcruiser, esp. tires

It came out of Idaho. He was at one of the GC meetings just after he bought it. I offered to trade him my Tundra for it but it was a no go.

he out to put some rust bullet on it at least

Keep it clean and dry and it wont rust any more than it has in the last 40 years, which is almost none. It is almost completely rust free. Im a sucker for original.....

Yes it is mine and those are the same tire/wheel combo off my 40 that was parked there last year. I put them on it recently to see if they would fit on the rear. There is decent clearance but may need to be raised an inch or two on the rear. I will have it down at the toys for tots ride next weekend. I have the set of tires and wheels that came with it (15 inch with a brand new set of rough riding snow tires) Also it came with 4 16 inch new wheels and original hubcaps. not sure of tire wheel combo thats going on the LV permantely. Leaning towards 15 inch with bfg all-terrain 33-10.50. may sell the (4) 16 inch wheels.
I do like the originality of the paint but it will be repainted the original color (spring green). Also I will upgrade the brake system soon also.. Next year I will try and have both cruisers at the gobble jog in the same parking space for you..

Henry,
You are welcome to stop by. I need to be more productive so my projects are worthy of the trip. In a few weeks once soccer is over for a few months (& I have my weekends back), I should have my lift fully assembled and operational which should be a nice touch in any home shop.
