First couple nights before the event we explored Lockhart road in the Indian Creek and Southern Canyon Lands area, this picture is right below the Needles overlook.

Thanks! Yea it was a great time! I would've had more picts but I decided to nuke my 60D by dousing it in cooler water while coming down a feature on cliff hanger. Once we got back to the road it was DOA.

What camera or effects are you using? I like the perspective it puts on the image.

Everything was shot using my ultra wide angle Canon EF-S 10-22 USM lens on my Canon 60D. Some of the shots got a little dressing up in lightroom 4, just turned up the clarity, saturation and vibrancy slightly, played with some highlights and watermarked them. The ultra-wide angle lens was one of the best additions to my kit.

Just bought a 70D to replace the 60 and I got a new motherboard coming for the 60 to make it my backup.

Thanks, the lens was what I specifically was looking for. It gives the shots perspective. When I shoot, rarely, I try to use the aperture mode to create perspective but the wide angle adds a new dimension. I need to stop using my stupid iPhone and use my DSLR more.
