Anybody from the NJ area going to Cruise Moab 2013? I was looking to ship my truck and fly out. (4000 mile round trip)

Philadelphia to Denver is a 4 hour flight followed by a one hour flight directly into Moab. Can't beat that. I was hoping to knock down the shipping cost if I can get others to join in.

Shipping your truck would be an epic statement of your commitment! That's wild. I guarantee you wouldn't regret it.

It looks like registration should be open any day now.

It will be my first time so I can't wait.
I checked it out and the tickets and shipping add about $800.00 to the overall trip. However, it saves me and my passenger six days of travel time. That would be an extra week we would have to take off from work. So I think it will be worth it. (Assuming my truck makes it there)

I've thought about doing the same thing for going to the the Rubicon trail.

Registered for Cruise Moab...

on the wait list for the Swell overnight...

Poison Spider - Behind the Rocks - Cliffhanger are the daily plans, in order...looking forward to the event!

I can assure you I have nothing to do with the registration process. I don't know who is coming until Rising Sun makes trail assignments and emails me a list. Otherwise I would make sure woody sat the bench :D

I kid, I kid. Hope you can make it woody, you'll fit right in with our rag tag crew.

I'll vouch for this one. Other than myself and my gunner, I haven't a clue who will be joining us on Kokopelli yet. And realistically neither do those who registered. Registration does not guarantee a spot on a trail but the committee does really try hard to make everyone happy while keeping people safe and keeping with the BLM permit.

Registered on Tuesday, and have asked for some mild Cat 4 trails to cut my teeth since this is my first time at Moab. Likely to also bring the MTB for at least one venture onto the slickrock.

For those going, camp in a tent, or get a cabin?

Cabin or a hotel. The snow (cottonwood cotton) gets really old very quick. I have camped there many times, and some years its worse than others, but i will be camped at Goose island same as last year.

Looking for accomodations

Hey guys, does anyone know of anyone that might have a room they need to fill on a condo rental.... or someone looking to split a room somewhere???

Me and my wife are coming down for CM13 and have not yet locked down accomodations....

Preferably looking for a separate room for me and her, ... and somewhere to park my tow rig and trailer.

Thanks in advance for any info!!

Here's the link - registration began back in January, so not many runs will be open. Your last day is the first day of runs.

Yes, I wasn't sure how much it would cost to hang around Tue/Wed but I'll send an email. Doesn't sound like much going on then so I might be better off striking out on my own. Thanks for the info.

Link said it, but headquarters is at Slickrock Campground on the north end of town. Stop by.

monday/tues may be busier than you think...most of the fairly local folks roll in the friday before for the hot rod show and wheel amongst themselves sat-tues. it's the only real time the staff gets to relax and wheel since they're busy runnign the show weds-sat.

we'll be out there, hopefully wheeling the 62 sat-weds, leaving once the event actually starts.
