Russel how is the recovery coming? Glad to hear that both you and Matthew are coming for CM07.
Thank you again for the CD full of Katemcy photos. I need to purchase a new camera so I too can share photos.

Look forward to another year in moab.

Awesome, it wouldn't be the same without you. You could ride with me or Sarah if you need to catch a ride once there.

I was happy not to get three days of chicken corners, but were gonna do a trail trade cause mick and i want to do tree days with you:cheers:

There will be tech first thing on Thursday and Friday mornings before the trail runs. You should have plenty of time.

I want to says TLCA say no on the line locks since it is actually part of the service brakes and not a seperate braking system. I'll check on that and let you know.

Another option is actual wheel chalks. Not a rock or a 2x4 but actual chalks like for an airplane or fire truck. We passed a couple of people last year that had them.

Ok everybody, I researched the line lock thing and here goes.

TLCA has gone back and forth on these for the last few years. At this point, I think, it is up to the safety chair of the event (me). I have no problem with the line locks as long as they work properly (goes without saying). If you switch them on your truck better not move! I would recommend those with them bring wheel chocks. Not mandatory but I guarantee, if you have line locks and chocks you will not fail inspection for parking brake.

TLCA puts these rules together and in some points they are kind of vague. All we can do at tech is try to follow them. That said there is and always will be some case by case judgement calls.

We don't want you to not run, we just don't want your truck to break on the trail because of something that could have been easily prevented and the most important point. We want everyone to be safe!!:D

Now only 23 days until CM :bounce: :bounce2:

If anyone has any other questions, feel free to post up or pm me.

There will be a "Live from CM07" thread..........

We always do a live from cruise moab thread and post pics of whats going on. It usually has a lot less chat than this thread :D

we need to ensure enough bandwidth to show all my stickers - I am now offically sponsored by several vendors - it looks I am still on target to arrive some time on wednesday - did not have enough time to ready the yota so the 80 series will be the winner - I have a small spiderweb in the windshield is that ok with the safety chair

As long as you don't bring the spider that made it you should be OK? If the rest of the rig is very clean you will lose style points, but won't look too out of place among the rest of the perfectly prepared, immaculately detailed rigs! :o

when you see my 80 - you will have yourself a good laugh :)

the windshiled is the cleanest thing I got. Last year when I pulled my carpet , there were 3 different color and size specie ant colonies living in there. Lot of ants.

The whole thing was a laugh, hence the

I'm not the "safety chair" but from my observation I don't think a cracked windshield is an issue as long as it's solid, not in danger of falling out?

Quick question, sorry if I missed the answer somewhere:

Where is registration taking place, and where are the meetings, etc.?
Also, specific times?

Thanks.

I think the driver meeting is 5:30PM Weds. The details will be provided at registration
