hi there!

I would like to join this event but i'm from Belgium :-)

So I have the choice between:
-shipping my Landcruiser oversees...
-rent a Landcruiser if this is possible?
-or buy a cruiser and sell it back afterwords...

Is there a website for Moab?Where can i look for renting a cruiser thats equiped for these trails...

advice would be appreciated,

G.

That would be

From those that I have talked to that have done this, it doable, but about $1200, port to port. Both of them were here for extended vacations, ~1 year.

Loads of heep rentals, never seen Land Cruiser rentals.

-or buy a cruiser and sell it back afterwords...

That sounds like a pain?

Kevin,
I'm in for this year's event. Please keep me posted. I promise I won't stay home and play guitar in my underwear, drinking beer when I should be finalizing the details of the trip:flipoff2:. FJC or FJ55 I will have one or two vehicles ready for this event.

As for G., I'm pretty sure he could buy a rig, spent less than 1200 to have someone fix it up and then get the $$$ out of it afterwards (minus brokerage fees of course). I might be in the Pig rental business.

My dad and I will be in this year for sure. Plan on taking the whole family...just not sure how much time I can take off, as far as pre-moab wheeling. I can't wait!!!

While I may resemble this remark, there are subtle differences - I was in my shearling booties, not my underwear; I was drinking Martinis, not beer; it was raining and cold; and I went to Tools' shop the next day for planning purposes.

That being said - I'd like to go to Moab this year, but may be hiking the Andes.

Sure would be fun! Guess I better start saving...

Getting the 2F rebuilt here soon, bumping up the HP, so I might just have enough power to saftley drive the 60 on the interstate now :)

looks as if there is a change of plans - CM08 is now a strong possibility .

I wanna go :bounce:

even though I was just in Moab end of September :flipoff2:
