Cracked radiator out of the box

Just finished buttoning up my radiator job and started filling the new radiator with coolant when I hear coolant pouring out the bottom.

It appears the bottom has a crack in it. I literally just opened the box last night. Problem is I ordered it in February during a sale.

I guess I’ll undo everything I just did and try to get a refund. I don’t see how else this could have broken like this. It’s been sitting in my garage since I got it.

Yeah man. It must have gotten dropped. The box arrived pretty beat up but the fins were fine so I went and installed it.

Good news is Serra is going to replace it under warranty. I just need to pay shipping. Bummed I gotta take it out, but relieved I won’t have to buy another.

Good to hear Toyota is replacing it for you. Definitely sucks you have to redo the job however.
