Not sure how it happened, but it has.:crybaby: I was thinking the heat may have played a part in it, but I guess there's no telling.

Any suggestions on where I can find a used or remanned replacement display assembly? Or is this something I can send out to be fixed, since the unit is still working fine?

First I have heard of this one. Doubt it was heat related since our buddies in Qatar haven't seen this issue.

You may want to see if you can take the glass off the unit. I have never tried, but if you can, you can have someone cut/shape glass for you. It won't be easy because of the anti-glare coating and shape but you can always get a film-time screen protector for $10 on fleaBay.

That part isn't sold separately from Toyota but you might want to try getting it from someone who had their unit crash and burn (the electronics) and maybe the will sell you theirs. One mans junk is another mans treasure.

Good luck.
