so i will be doign a general overhaul in the next couiple of days - which will include regreasing all the grease nipples around the ride - i figure it would be good not to miss any...so heres the list i have so far - please add any i have overlooked...

-1 on each drive shaft
-1 each per UJ
-1 on the drag link
-all the shackles and pins
-...my memory seems to have just dried up....help!

2 x nipples on the steering damper balljoints
1 x nipple on the steering idler (centre-arm bracket)
1 x nipple on transfer gear-change-lever-pivot


And I've got 5 more nipples on my PTO winch set-up (but I think I may have added some of those myself).

I know I've added a further 2 nipples on my bonnet hinges and another 2 on my spare-wheel-carrier.

(Giving the old girl a lube is a big job these days what with the greaseable shackles and greaseable fixed pins as well!)

Maybe there is just one on your drive shafts, but there are 3 on my front DS and 4 on the rear DS. One on each universal joint and one on the slip spline.
 
count your nipples!

Glad to see this thread is about grease fittings.
For a minute I Thought it might have been about the obese lady I saw wearing the tank top at the Bar-B-Q joint the other night.:)
