Well there is one snap ring but we took off so many that we may have taken one off that we didn't need to off of a part that was not reused. We'll see...

If it was the really thick one (about silver dollar size), it was removed from the counter shaft gear that was being replaced and was supposed to be put onto the new one...last step in the disassembly instructions.
