It takes about a weekend of study/practice, then you can forget it all. Find a test date in your area HERE, and then start looking at the material a week or two ahead of time. Don't start too far out or you'll start forgetting stuff.

I read @BMThiker 's recommended study guide: No-Nonsense Study Guide , and then tested each section with a phone app (Ham Radio Exam - Tech) as I read it until I scored in the high 90's. After I did all the sections, I took some sample tests. By the time you get to the sample tests, you can already pass. You can miss 9/35 questions (I think), so you don't have to be an expert on every section.

Thx Cam. Closest place to me is LR Arkansas. I've been reading/studying some, just need to bit the bullet and do it.

The official practice book has too much info for me and puts me to sleep. The study guide above is like Cliff's Notes, no extra crap to distract you from the essentials.

There's some by appointment in McComb, Flowood, and Brookhaven.

Can we just keep "breakin the law, breakin the law!"? lol

2m tech Ham Lic practice test.

if you are inclined...go to eham.net there are practice tests there and they are easy to take...etc... run through a few and you'll be good after some minor study of the material. I just took a couple until I passed without issue and then went to take the test the next day or two while the "stuff" was somewhat familiar. its not hard, but you need to be familiar with the terms.

THAT looks awesome.

Maybe do a few days week of crawl? roll into crawl thursday?
