Hi. I'm trying to figure out the correct socket size for the OEM lug nuts on my '16 LC. Some people say 21mm but I've seen 22mm in other places. I don't have either so can't really test it out. I tried to measure the inside of the tire iron that comes with the tool set and it appears to be 22mm.

I found several threads on the size of the lug nuts, which appears to be 14mm x 1.5 but I'm sure what that would translate to in terms of socket size.

Also, I think the correct torque spec on the lugs is 97 ft-lb but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for your help.

22mm/yes re torque

My 2010 LX is 22mm and takes the same 14x1.5 nut. The below link says its the same part from 1998-2020. So i'd say 22mm should be right.

21 was for earlier 6-lug cruisers and many other Toyota’s so that might explain the confusion.

What’s the key to keeping the chrome from chipping after repeated use?

22mm
