I run the Cooper SSTs in a 315 75 R16, Smooth and quiet on the highway. The little sipes on the block of the tread helps under icy conditions. I found them to be good at self cleaning ie wet packed snow and dirt. Even aired down the 3 ply sidewall flexed well.

My hunting buddy put a set of STT's on his Chevy 1/2T pickup this past winter. I rode with him many days on the new treads and was super surprised at their great performance on snow and ice. Highway noise was not bad either...especially for MT with a fair amount of void. If they made my size (285/75 18...basically 11" wide x 35" tall) I'd give them a try. Having said that I'm super happy with my GY MT/R Kevlars in the same size.
