So as previously stated in my previous post someone prior to myself decided it would be real cool to tamper with and remove the temperature sensor plug so you couldn’t see that it was running hot. So I have finnaly gotten time to repair it and I have had the hardest time finding the connector for the sensor. It looks like it is a single wire connector but I can not for the life of me find one online. The only one I can find is the one for the ECM but none for the gauge. If someone could be kind enough to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

the connector u need is in this Toyota repair manual

Toyota Wiring Connectors - Wire Harness Repair Manual RM1022E - Land Cruiser Tech from IH8MUD.com

Same problem. I unplugged this sensor a year ago because mine was kaput, forcing the gauge needle to jam itself in the max position. Just got around to fixing it and cannot find the pigtail that I unplugged and cannot for the life of me remember where this darn sensor is located.

Did we ever get an answer on this?

Ballenger part number for the single wire sensor that goes to the dash gauge. Mine was damaged so I was not getting a temp reading.
Wire and plug are located at the left front side of the intake underneath the plastic intake assembly
