Today I had to take my dog, Luke, to the vet and have him put to sleep.
He has had liver problems for almost three years. In the past month or so, his condition deteriorated very rapidly.
Yesterday, his body ran completely out of energy and today we knew it was time to take him in.
Luke never complained a day in his life and always showed a happy face. Even in his final days and moments he put all of his energy, as best he could, to not show what he was going through.
I stayed with him in the room to the very end. He passed very quickly and peacefully.
Rest in peace big guy. It's been an honor to have you in our pack.

In lieu of a comment, I ask you instead to just take a moment of silence, or a 'like' if you want to show your condolences.

Have you ever tried to sleep on a straight air mattress like that?
Not thst particular one but a blow up plus a bag yeah. At the camp and in my truck. Not ideal but works in a pinch.
