I think my FIL says it got hit by an oak tree last year.
Did any years have turn signals mounted on the body vs the fenders? Were they round? If so, wouldn't they be old enough that the hood would be "split?"
I've never really been interested in 40s enough to learn their intricacies, but I've decided I want to know more
