Connecting a 4l80e or 4l85e to a 4.2 diesel

Has anyone does this? If so, what kind of dance did you have to do to get the adapters? $$?

not that I'm aware of .. and I do plenty of web around those motors ...

if you want an auto, easiest path it's A442 or A343
