This email came in from Steve Baum who attended the Four Peaks Cleanup. Great job!
Pictures from the Four Peaks pickup just got posted, so I thought I'd file a rogue "trip report."
Almost 500 folks picked up almost 25 tons of every imaginable kind of trash, filling 4 industrial dumpsters.
I stepped in front of a camera to get the club some PR.
And as luck would have it, stood around afterwards long enough to win the very last door prize.
There were quite a few 4x4 clubs out in force, not the least of which was Copper State Cruisers, complete with a banner and a chef who must have cooked up 1,000 hot dogs for the assembled masses. Kind of a cool "service project."
This worthy event ought to be an official run on our club's calendar in the future.
