Nice job everyone! Looks like a great time was had by all.
Thanks again to Jon for posting that video - I think. It allows me to re-live that moment behind the wheel where I was the most scared that I have ever been!
It's fun to look back on it now, but that one really got the adrenaline flowing.
That was definitely the most fun wheeling trip ever. Mike suggested at the meeting last night that we make an annual October trip to Moab - I couldn't agree more.

It's ok. This rattlesnake is instantly deadly. The ranger told me they hardly ever rattle, so you would never know what hit you.
looks like a prarie rattler. i have not seen one of those in person yet. i really want to. i have good pics of a blacktail rattler from Tucson. they are endangered and really rare to see. i'm just a snake nut.

Midget Faded Rattlesnake. Used to be same species, difference sub-species. Now lumped with something else. Ranger said it was the only rattlesnake in the park. I found that hard to believe, but he should know better than I.

It's ok. This rattlesnake is instantly deadly. The ranger told me they hardly ever rattle, so you would never know what hit you.
Just walking up on that bugger at night would kill me from a heart attack. He wouldn't have to bite me or rattle or anything. You and Ann have dropped seven notches on the credibility scale.
