Front Drive Shaft off of 1996 Land Cruiser.
After going from 2.5" lift down to 2" lift the front shaft started a barely noticeable vibration around 70mph. I figured it might have been the u-joints settling into their new position so I installed brand new Toyota u-joints in this drive shaft. The vibration still persisted. I had a long trip coming up and made the rash decision of buying a complete brand new drive shaft to see if it would fix the problem and even the brand new shaft has the same exact vibration. Meaning there is nothing wrong with this one and it has nearly brand new joints in it, just something wrong with my caster/pinion angle.
Drive Shaft: ~110,000 miles
Toyota U-joints: Less than 1,000 miles
$250
