did toyota run a collectors edition in 1997 along with the 40 anniversary? i have my eye on one, and i asked him to send me a picture of the 40th emblem and he sent me this



is this on the 40th? also didnt the 40th come in sage and green only? this looks like silver.

sorry if i am hitting a covered topic, i searched and didnt find what i was looking for.

There is a 40th and there is a Collector Edition. They were both offered in the 97 model year. You are correct about the 40th colors. The Collector was available in the standard colors.

I have what you pictured... a Collectors Edtion (CE).
The 40th came w/ a sorta free hand scripted " 40th" instead of what you pictured.

The 40th An. models also came with these...I don't know if even the Parts Shaman has a parts number for these...pretty elite! Notice the special "2-tone" not even the lexus group got.
