Posting here first for a feeler. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in 2019. I purchased the vehicle with the intention to keep it forever, and I treated it as such, but unfortunately life has changed and it's time to part with this incredible rig. Let's get into the details.
Year: 2003
Color: Sand Dollar Pearl (only made in 2003 for GX470s, extremely unique paint color)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Mileage: 193,XXX
PROS
-Clean title in hand
-Mechanically solid, wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the US tomorrow.
-Vehicle meticulously maintained by original owner and myself as listed in Notes screenshot (detailed service records from my ownership)
-Vehicle maintained using OEM parts when possible, even down to the engine oil filters
-Purchased vehicle at 132K, flew to California and drove it back to CO
-CA/CO vehicle it's entire life, so no rust concerns.
-Upgraded head unit and installed backup camera
-Unsealed transmission which makes transmission oil changes a breeze
-Non VVTI so if/when camshaft seals begin to leak, it's a fraction of the labor time to replace
-Almost all wear components have been addressed and changed out with OEM parts (see Notes screenshots)
-Offroaded, but never abused. The majority of the miles put on during my ownership were from commuting across western Kansas multiple times a year.
-Vehicle sale comes with a fantastic camping setup. (back seats come out, level platform, and 12 inch trifold full size mattress that fits like a glove) My wife and I have camped comfortably in some of the most inaccessible spots Colorado has to offer
-Blackstone oil report completed at 173,500, the engine is solid with zero abnormal wear.
-Vehicle sale comes with extra parts (SPC Ball joints, a dozen OEM engine oil filters)
-Third row seats will come with sale
-RCI transmission skid plate
-It's a more than capable rig that has a really unique paint color. In my 5 years of ownership, I've only seen one other GX470 with this paint color
CONS
-A few "Colorado pinstripes" from using the vehicle throughout the state, the paint color does really well to conceal this
-Colorado vehicle so there are a few hail dings. You really have to look for the hail dings in great lighting as the paint color does a great job at hiding blemishes
-Leather seats have some cracks/tears, mainly on drivers seat
-Cracked dash is present. I have a cover over it and it's not something I notice after years of ownership.
This is a ready to go Colorado rig. You can take the build whichever way you'd like. It's beyond capable as is, but it's also a great platform to continue a build. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have and I would love to see the vehicle go to an individual who will make incredible memories with it like I did.
