So you are really talking about the master cylinder and whether or not you can find a cool looking replacement one????? Sorry, but that is a sorry reason for trying to put a part on that may, or may not work, cause it looks cooler. The original is what came on the truck, despite better performance from an 80 series cylinder, I think they look funny on a 40 myself.
The clutch master on my T-100, is not all that different from the master on my 1984 60 series, but much smaller than the master on my 73 40. I don't have a clue if the pressure is the same, the stroke or anything else. Bolt pattern differs as I recall though, and the little plastic cup still looks like a loco smoke stack, not much different than any other Toyota Clutch master.
If it helps, my 73 cup is more cylindric, like the brake master cups, you could even use an old brake master cup, if you want to get rid of the funnel shape. Use a front reservoir, you'll have more fluid that way. I think they will interchange, maybe.
