Clutch Pedal Spring Help (1 Viewer)

Guys,
I believe I'm missing a spring for the clutch pedal for my 89 4Runner. I've ordered two different springs now and failed both times. Does anyone know what's supposed to go between these two spots? I'm guessing this is where the spring is supposed to go. Clutch pedal works fine otherwise. Ordered a Spring Tension W Da Part # 90507-1430, but it's much too long to fit between those two spots.

The clutch spring on my truck runs to the left, not up. The end of the spring is hidden behind the dashboard. It's probably back there where you can't see it. It runs inline with the piston shaft. This was the best I could do.

The tab in the first pic mounts the "binger" box or something like that.

@jsabowabo mine looks identical to yours, no spring. Works fine... maybe weeps a bit apparently
