Hey fellas,
Got a 2003 hzj79
When my Ute is out of gear the clutch isn’t disengaging fully I can’t get any gear when the car is at a standstill running, if I put it in gear before turning it on the clutch is working but the car will creep forward a little bit but it won’t stall if I put my foot on the brake and my motor isn’t loaded up or anything . my pedal has good travel before the clutch engages back on just doesn’t make sense

I have put a brand new genuine gearbox in, new genuine slave cylinder, new master cylinder, new clutch fork and release bearing came with box. Fella I bought it off had put a new clutch in apparently and it looked new, spigot bearing isn’t seized, it does have a little rattle in the bell housing but when you disengage the clutch it goes away, all of this was happening before the new gearbox as well. I have bought a new clutch and flywheel which are the last 2 things I haven’t replaced.
Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem or what else I could be missing. Thanks

That clutch cover is plenty worn, look at the wear on the spring fingers where the release bearing contacts them. It also looks like a cheap generic Valeo or some similar junk. Could just be the wrong unit altogether, or maybe the clutch disc is in the wrong way round. If the gearbox and clutch cylinders are all the right parts, it pretty much has to be the clutch.
