Hi all,

I´ve been driving the Cruiser for 1 year now, almost...she´s been always good to me until this morning.
The plan was to go to pick up some plywood, never happened. The clutch felt suuuper weird so I checked the reservoir, and it was completely drained. I rode on Saturday (2 days ago) no problem at all. This was pretty sudden.
Leak seems to be right under the main cylinder, but it doesn´t look like recent leak fresh, it´s already dirty so I´m doubting this is the real problem. I followed the hardline to the slave cylinder and it´looked ok.
Check the pics!
Do you guys think the problem could come from the booster itself?
I don´t have any DOT3 now but I´ll top it up tomorrow and try it out to see if I can confirm the leak but I´m assuming is on the main cylinder as the picture shows.

Thanks!

It looks like the clutch master is the issue as per the leak. Looks like maybe the booster is now filled with fluid. You should remove the booster and dump it out when you replace the master cylinder.

look under the dash at the pedal, you may have quite the mess inside.
i wouldnt bother refilling anything, just order a master and a slave and replace both.

Inside looks ok! Hopefully didn‘t get to the booster. But thanks for the heads up!

This. I would also bet the booster is now full of fluid. There's a seal and retainer between the master and booster that can go bad. Easy to replace/fix, but definitely remove the booster and drain it...

+1 on your booster being full of fluid. Make sure you clean the booster well and use alcohol to dissolve and clean the brake fluid out. Otherwise it will eat the paint and the rubber seals in the booster.
