Alright....I talked to Jason and Josh at Truckwerks, and we got a date put together for another "official" wrenchin day. They will open up the shop to all CSC members on Sunday July 15th, starting at 8:00am. There will be two lifts available, so they will be on a first come first serve basis. If there are any specific tool / part needs Jason says to give him a heads up and he should be able to get em'.

hmmm sounds like time for a repack on the birf's

Split this off from the other thread, so it's easier to follow.

I talked to Jason today also, we are good to go. It's going to be HOT!:D:princess:

Good deal Josh! Sorry I've been a little absent around here lately. The Baja trip kept my mind elsewhere for about a month or two there. I'm back though and ready to get this summer kickin.

I have a couple leaks under the truck I wouldn't mind taking care of if a lift will make them easier. I believe one is the frequently mentioned arch seal. I'm not sure the lift would make it any easier. I need to get under and do a good cleaning to pinpoint the leaks.

If the lift doesn't help, do we have anyone who has done this before? I've done similar things on other Toyota vehicles but never a 4WD and we have always just pulled the entire motor/transmission assembly out.

If those turn out to be more than a realistic day's work my rear axle bits need to be rebuilt.

I definately am.....got some more stuff to give away / swap, let's see if there is any more interest there Bill.

Yes, Swap meet would be good in addition to wrenching, BS, cold berverage drinking, etc., etc..

I still have a good F engine that I know someone needs, plus assorted 40 parts, which I no longer need. Oh yeah, an extra 55 too.

Is the CSC Club Wrenchin Day for CSC members only THIS time?

Hell, someone had to take your place since you felt so abliged to not show up last time. Prolly coulda scored a few new memberships the last go round...

Would someone be willing to lend a hand in a birf replacement? Never did one and as previuosly posted I need one.

I'm sure there will be plenty of "verbal wrenchin" help available, as well as the possibility of some real wrenchin assistance as well.:grinpimp:
