OK, then the brake lights must work on a trail rig that arrives on a trailer

  • Brake Lights: Must be functioning properly
The rest of the lights are not mandatory and are on the second list

Got my CB radio today, came with no instructions but there's a big hairy mustache in the box. Do I have to wear the mustache when using the radio?

Got that too , came with the long sideburn attachement. At least its smaller than that old PRC77, and lighter

I too picked up a CB recently but mine came with a hair extensions to make a mullet.

Correct, but if too many things are missing / wrong on the second list, then you will be turned away.

The second page is left up to the inspector's discretion, so that they can make a judgement call.

I want to make sure that the inspection is not some super scary thing that everyone is afraid of. We're not going to be crawling over your truck with a fine-tooth comb, just a quick overview of each truck to make sure it's safe :D

Any other questions or concerns? Anyone looking for suggestions on what they should do?

Bumping this thread because LR is now only 1 month away.

Have fire extinguisher?
Have working park brake?
Have new tire to replace last one that got cut?

We need to do pre-inspections so that we can drink beer and prepare for the event . . . and fix any faults, after. We could get radios on channel, test communications, too. :)

I'd like to sign up for Johnny's SWR/signal tuning event.

Id sign up for that .

We can certainly do that! I need to tune my radio anyway, so I'll freshen up on the procedure.
