I would love a place that you order food then sit. These monster tables with one server are lame.

I say we call and bitch about how bad our service is. (It really was ridiculous).
I really like the location and food, but yeah, if you don't time it just right, traffic can be killer. It took me about 15 minutes to go from Fondren to Mugshots.
I would like to propose...a proposal.
How about the Pig and Pint? Excellent food, great beer selection, and is not very crowded at 6 p.m. There is also an overflow lot next door that is usually completely empty (we could line the cruisers up). Yeah, its in Jackson, but the area is very busy and usually is well patrolled. I have never had bad service there either, even when the place was packed. Did I mention the food was good? It offers outdoor seating too which is cool. Just an idea....

I like the Pig and the Pint if that parking lot is viable. I always thought that was another business. I like you can order your food and sit down and then go get beer. Of course winter might be a problem there. Inside is tiny.

Drove by there at 6:40 and 7:45 this evening. Both times the lot was virtually empty. It is owned by another business, but it is an interior design shop that is closed at night. In the evenings, it serves as general parking for the whole area.

I usually e-mail the manager at Mugshots to warn him we are coming (as I did on Monday). Not sure what the problem was. It took longer to get the food the other night than it ever has. I'll talk to them about it.
Location works better for me, but I agree on the horrible service the past couple meetings. You figure as much business we bring in on a Tuesday that they we do a better job.
