We had a great time and look forward to hanging out with you guys some more.

Just dropped by

Hello everyone. Adam here, I'm not yet a member of the OMC but am considering. I have a 1969 FJ40 that I installed a 5.3 out of a 2002 Silverado and am very pleased with the outcome. Now I have to intall an OME lift this weekend because my oil pan is wat too close to the diff. I wanted to post a few pics to see what everyone thought. I don't think I will be doing too much wheeling with it, I just wanted to get an FJ40 like I had back in highschool and use it for my everyday driver. Let me know what you guys think. I'll try to make it to some of the events and meet some of you.

I love the truck and would love to see it in person. We would also love to have you out on a run with us sometime. We have several members with very clean trucks and not all of our runs are designed to tear things up.

Please give us a little more information about yourself

I will probably come out and run some beginner courses sometime with you guys. I haven't been off-roading in 7-8 yrs. My first hobby is getting out on my mountain bike. I work with a bunch of guys in the Ozarks Jeep Thing club and they all want me to go the SOA lift, so I'm probably going to get a lot of flak from them on that issue as well as just having a better vehicle overall;p
Here's a couple more pics. I got the hard top on just in time.

Cruiser friend in Branson

Hello All,

Glad to see a Toyota/Land Cruiser club in the Ozarks. Thought I would intro myself, Jeff A. I have an '84 BJ42, '83 fj40, and a '75 fj40. The '84 and '83 are trailer queens, but I do light trail riding with them. Do you guys ever get together for club meetings?

Welcome JNTFJ80. Thanks for posting up. We dont or haven't done any club meetings but we do try and wheel together as much as possible. We try and make as many TLCA events as we can and sprinkle in some local runs on the side. We were down in the chadwick area last month playing in the snow. If you watch this board you will be able to keep up with when we are wheeling and we would love to have you come out.

How about some pics of your Toyota's

Sorry thought these posted(pics)

Here are my '83 and '84 cruisers.
Look forward to hanging out sometime.

The '83 fj40 has 23,500 miles on it. The '84 Bj42 has about 250,000 miles on it. The '83 was a barn find, I know, I was lucky, but I paid them the asking price! The '84 Bj42 was quite a search to find, but after a few years and some luck, I found this one back in the mid 90's, so I have had it for a long time. I tend to like the more rare of the Toyota rigs.

Nice looking Rigs.

WOW. I would love to see these sometime. Perhaps we need a Branson area trip soon.

Sweet rides!!! I would love to see them. I have yet to go out on a run with everyone but hopefully we can all get together soon.

Hello im Jarred and i have a 1978 FJ 40 Ive taken it to a few spots off road since april when i bought it... It performs great and it is my daily driver i am attending OTC in springfield MIssouri currently and I have always loved cruisers Mine is a bit rusty but the diamond plate covers it I have put on quite a few parts so it looks better than the pics on here

Jarred, thanks for posting up your info. some pics would be nice. Love to see other folks trucks. Welcome.

Are you from this area. Where did you get it, and have you done any upgrades to it?

Hello all. I am hopefully a new member (assuming I pass the vote). I just moved to Springfield from STL. I have wheeled with some of you at the past 4 GATOR/SMORR/Fall-Crawl events. This past trip I had my trusty wiener dog Rusty along as my co-pilot.

Silver 2008 TACO Double Cab TRD: 3" Sway-A-Way life, ARB front & All Pro rear bumpers, Trail Gear Sliders. It is my DD so you just may see me around town. My territory covers 7 counties from the City of Buffalo down to Gainsville and over to Mountain Grove, MO.

Previously owned a 1994 4Runner & 1989 SR5 4x4 truck

I will get some picks up eventually...we just moved here two weeks ago.

Oh, i am a TLCA member also.

Let's try this one from the last SMORR Fall Crawl

Thanks for posting up. Remember the truck but not the dog. Might post up your name also. The club is actually heading down to Arkansas next weekend 12-13 for a camping trip and some trail running. Would love to have you jump in.
