Wow, I didnt know that I was being tracked! Yes, it was my PTO and I am trying to locate a gear for the buyer. Are PTO gears for the 4 speed that rare? I have been hearing stupid prices for something that has no demand. Someone should have a pile of 4 speeds laying around and I expect that one of them would have a gear.

not really

Neat thing about 'mud is everybody has a name tag except you can't see us cheat.. I thought I'd seen your name come up before.
PTO parts are tough to come by. I sold a '55 pto to cruiserguy a while back. Too many unobtanium parts for me to mess with. I've looked for the gear but only have found the spacer.

My friend has a full set of 4 chains for 285/75/16's. He used them once for 10 minutes to bust through a berm and that is it. He is selling his H3 and wants to off load these. What are they worth? How about $190? Local pick up or mud ship only.

I bought my chains that (barely) fit my 315's for $75 each, new.

Been watching CL for chains. $20-$40 per set (so $40-$80 for all 4 tires) seems to be the going price, anything higher than $40 and they don't seem to sell.

Cool, thanks. I'll tell him he might get $80-90. If anyone needs some I'll pass them on to you.

looked it over a bit and got the carfax from OB-1 in NC; locked, 132K black/gold/"wood".
looks clean enough, new radiator which raises a flag, but maybe it was not catastrophic... needs a valve cover gasket too. Newer Schwabe AT's, stock and clean, rockers look straight..

I was looking it over for a friend who got the wave off from his financial division:princess:,

yup, another seller unawares of the "golden dial":D

except you can arb and install cheaper

Ty could probably sell his non-locked axles for $1500 to $2000.

They're popular with the mini-truck guys.

Cheaper than ARB, but a heck of a lot more work.

One guy on the 80's forum sold his locked axles and bought Volvo portal axles. Broke pretty even on the deal $$$ wise.

i guess, i have seen and could bought two fronts for 400$a piece.
the offset rear is a boat anchor to a mini guy.

the 9.5 diff is definately making me want some LC parts on the mini
i want to build a front with a 9.5 diff and 80 series outers

the offset rear is a boat anchor to a mini guy.

Why is that?

You have to deal with an offset front anyway, so I wouldn't imagine that it's being offset that's the problem.

And not to mention that it's going to be a heck of a lot harder to break an 80 diff than it would be to break a mini or (a smaller) dana.

mini is centered rear. centered rear output. the fuel tank is in the way if you were to run a sideways driveline.

no arguments on the strength, at least for the 9.5"
you could fully use one in a custom housing.
