A great weekend! Many thanks to Colleen and Jeff for opening their house to us. It was very laid back with no real agenda except to drive on the beach hang out and have a good time. Chef Colleen put out a great spread and cooked everything to perfection.
We already have some plans for next year... all I can say is it involves trophies.

Sorry we missed it. The wife was really bummed and my boy would have loved fishing.

It was a blast and thanks to everyone that made it. Next year we will have a Toyota beach race. Individual time trials up and down the sand around a cone about 1 mile each way. You have 1 year to get your rig ready! CLCC Desert Camel Trophy!

I just want to say thank you to everyone. It was fun. We had a great time. This is going to be an annual event for us. I will post some pictures when I get a chance. As I side note, there was sand EVERYWHERE after washing my FJ60. It was coming out of all sorts of nooks and crannies.

We should do the race and have a bonfire/BBQ on the beach next year... if that is leagal. Also if we let the DE Parks and Recreation know about the meet ahead of time we will be able to secure a three day pass at a discount for the Club. Anyway, we had such a great time that we're already planing for next year.

Definitely potential to grow the event next year. We can do a bonfire on the main Dewey Beach. The driving beach closes at dusk and doesn't offer any permits for activity after dark. In the town beach it's a $30 permit and legal til 11:00. I think we will keep the date about the same. It seemed to work perfect with weather and a pleasure not dealing with traffic and crowds.
