i have many, many things to be thankful for in 2016. and a small, but meaningful part of that was this forum and the feedback and knowledge i've gained here over the past year of LC ownership.

in particular, there are a handful of folks i'd like to personally thank for making this forum great for me, even though i've only contributed to a few posts and had very little direct interaction with any of you...

@kreiten for your inspiring pictures in almost all of your posts. you're an inspiration for all of us on how to enjoy the outdoors with your family...
@MScruiser for your funny and very informative posts (i also watched your youtube channel on LC maintenance -very helpful) and for pushing the boundaries that most of us haven't done wrt suspension and body lift as well as tire size on these trucks - and i'm SO jealous that amazon green is no longer available...
@Markuson for your unwavering love for the LC and willingness to help anybody with the simplest of things (get well soon)...
@cruiseroutfit for your EPIC posts on your rig as well as Canguro Racing's. i can't believe an LC 200 has done so well...
@bjowett for being an innovator and pushing the boundaries of our preferred platform...
@codyaustin5 for your contributions to the forum as well as putting together epic wheeling opportunities for the community, which i hope to be a part of in the near future...
@Taco2Cruiser (i know you haven't been on the 200 forum for that long but........) for your matter-of-fact, no-nonsense posts that come clearly from experience and clearly from the heart...
@dukmon for the absolute funniest posts i've read on here... i don't know if everybody gets your humor, but i wholeheartedly appreciate it. thank you...
@gaijin for your ninja-like knowledge of tires and tire pressures, in particular...
@arich for trying out more suspension kits than any man should have to...

...and last but certainly not least, @Romer and @beno for being fantastic moderators on a fantastic forum.

i know i've missed several folks that have also made great contributions. i'll likely think of you and have regrets for not calling you out by name immediately after i hit 'create thread'... but i thank you all as well. i really love this forum.

you guys have made my first LC 200 purchase, my first LC purchase, and my first extended stay on any specialty forum great this year. cheers!

Great post, and another perfect example of why I appreciate this forum. Sooo many friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, caring and knowledgeable folks here. Truly a high quality conglomeration from all over the world. Thanks for the kind words, and get well wishes.

This forum helped keep me sane while cooped up for two months in a facility after my accident, and still does as I'm still stuck at home and wheelchair. So many here have been kind through the experience. Many many private messages and public posts of concern by folks who clearly do care... -Even a surprise "care package" in a ammo can that *really* lifted my spirits on a super dark day.

Venders who care, gurus who are patient, and enthusiasts who spring out of the woodwork from every continent...

Thanks for the post ikeb, and thanks to ALL who combine to make this place what it is.

Markuson

Thanks, @ikeb for the kind words - we are a pretty good bunch here. I wonder what I'll learn next year :poof:

Thanks for the kind words and for following along the Canguro adventure!

Thank you @ikeb !

Lots of very cool stuff on the forum this year.

And yeah, @kreiten was probably the Toyota salesman of the year.

Thanks @ikeb

Appreciate the shout out! This forum is awesome and probably the best part is seeing our online community on the trails. These rigs are real and not computer generated!

Happy new year y'all!

Indeed, you guys are awesome, this is by far the best forum I have been on, kudos for keeping it sane, classy and incredibly informative.
On the other hand, this forum is costing me a ton as I get gear and mod envy every time I click on a thread.
But it's only money and someone's got to have a hobby.

@ikeb thanks for posting your note, I agree with the sentiment. I just started on my ownership of my 200. This forum make me feel that I can buy, maintain, modify and enjoy one of the most special vehicles in production. It makes me question why I am not out on trails and using things like sliders, metal bumpers, roof racks, or s***, even a tent up there. :rimshot: The funny thing is, I will tell myself that I wouldn't feel that way if I didn't spend so much time on Mud. Reality is that I want to do these things and this community is the best possible source of knowledge and energy. Oh, and to you folks with fridges, amazing!

May you all have a healthy and prosperous 2017!

@ikeb, like most things in my life, I only want to exert enough effort to achieve moderate success on the daily with a rare accidental flash of brilliance to share with the rest of the world. Otherwise, it's all beer, bikes and peanut M&M's here.

Happy new year to you and all of you other magnificent muddy bastards.
