For Sale Clearwater FL / 2003 / LX470

Saw this on FB marketplace. Looks like a pretty good deal on a Florida lx

Well that was my first post and evidently I have some things to learn Anyway, there's a white 2003 lx in Clearwater Fl with 149,000 miles for $9300. Pulls slightly to the right and needs new tires were the only negatives that were posted. Couldn't find it on Craigslist so you'll have to find it on FB if you want to see it.

There was a black Lexus suv forsale from one of the surf type shops in gulf breeze, I’m not in the know on the terms for the Lexus and modern lc models, I do want a 460 I think it is called. Is the surf shop one the one you got? It looked cool when I would see it out and about

For Sale - SOLD -Baton Rouge, LA - 2000 Lexus LX470 $7,900

Actually I bought this one a couple of weeks back. Never saw the one in GB but I didn't shop very long. Buying one at home would have been more convenient, and probably safer. I decided to take my first Greyhound ride to Baton Rouge to pick it up. That was an interesting experience.

DO NOT BUY!! Unless you want to spend many thousands...

I just looked this thing up in Lexus service history and the current owner took it in March 2019 to be inspected and there is a longgggg list of items Lexus said needed replaced that he declined.

Thanks for following up Gthomp. I feel like a turd for posting this and I'm glad it didn't result in someone else buying it because of me. Just wanted to make a contribution to the forum since I've learned so much from here already. Instead I learned something else; check the Lexus service history before buying or posting something for sale. Also confirmed something I already knew, some people lack integrity and try to solve their problems by giving them to someone else.

Anyone have an opinion on whether I should try to get the thread deleted or leave it in case someone else is looking at the truck?

Might as well leave it for someone to see that might have considered buying it. Those posts have some good info someone might not have seen. It also shows some realistic problems people should/could look for on vehicles of similar age or miles
