If I ever succumb to the urge to build another wagon, I would look for a body like this one. I would take it apart and have the body dipped and sealed, before painting. Always wanted to try the acid dip thing.

That's a steal of a deal if it's a clean, build-able body.

I'm of a mind that a good, clean, primed body, free of rust and ready to paint is worth $6-7k, so $4k seems too good to be true.

Dunno how far from Stockton, but would give my eye teeth to have it dropped at Don's, grant full artistic freedom (including drivetrain), and see what kinda masterpiece resulted.

I have heard you really have to make sure you rinse ALL that acid off. I wonder how you clean out that roof rail area?

Most places have another tank, they dip it in to neutralize the acids. I believe there are several tanks it goes in, but not positive on that.

Getting my body acid dipped soon, will let you all know how it goes. Their website says it is acid then neutralize dipped and epoxy primed for flash rust. Just need to call for a price figuring not cheap.
